[Investigating] Incident Report: Tableau Analytics Service Outage and Partial Degradation

Incident Summary:
At approximately 11:30 AM PST on January 15, 2025, we began receiving reports of analytics data for EchoInk not loading. Upon investigation, we identified an issue with the Tableau service that powers analytics data for customer sites.
Impact:
For a duration of 90 minutes, customers were unable to load analytics data across all dashboards.
As of now, some dashboards remain inaccessible, though others are functioning as expected.
Current Status:
The primary outage has been resolved, and the Tableau service is operational. We are actively investigating and working on the partial degradation impacting specific dashboards to restore full functionality.
Next Steps:
Our engineering team is continuing to work with Tableau to identify and resolve the remaining issues.

[Investigating] We have completed the first phase of our efforts to resolve this incident. While progress has been made, we are aware that some areas of the Tableau analytics platform may still be experiencing a degradation in service.
